In May 2017 Millville Senior High School students headed over to Lakeside Middle School to host the district's first STEM Showcase.  The high school students researched age appropriate projects for the students and developed methods of instruction that included a hands-on activity for each of the four stations - Slime, Pop Rocks Viscosity, Tower Challenge, and Rube Goldberg Machines.

 

The students enjoyed the information and projects at each of the stations.  As the high school students packed up and boarded the bus to head back to their classroom they were already critiquing and developing a plan for next year.  This was a great activity that allowed for students to take part in the entire process of instruction from research all the way through to implementation and delivery.
